I have dirty blonde hair that falls about 2 inches below my shoulder. It is naturally wavy, however it poofs out. Will layers make it sit flatter naturally, and add volume when i straighten it?

I have medium, wavy hair. And i also have layers. I think that it defiantly adds volume to your hair because it's not just straight across. When you straighten your hair, the ends kind of get a little frizzy at times. But if you use Bio-silk gel, it really gets rid of it, without the greasy feeling that some gel's might can do.
