Wavy hair? Please help?

I have shoulder length hair, its kinda wavy I guess, But really frizzy, I want it wavy like all of the celebrities have it these days, but when I do it with a curling iron, it looks funny, what can I do?

i guess you could try straightening your hair before you use the curling iron. that way the frizz factor may be reduced and your hair may be easier to style with a curling iron.

or if you don't want to use a straightener (i never use them because they make your hair really dry), you could try putting your wet hair in loose plaits and keeping them in overnight. that generally makes your hair wavy but be sure to not make the plaits too tight, otherwise you'll just end up crimping your hair

also - make sure you're using the curling iron correctly. there's a real "art" to it and i know that sometimes you spend a lot of time and it just looks odd.

do my hair like that alot. i french braid it into 2 braids at night after i shower but i don't do them very tight. the next morning i take them out, hairspray my hair and it always turns out great! It doesn't even look like you used braids! : ) good luck!
