I have wavy hair and want it to be straight?

Use the wellastrate brand they have mild and strong both. Try a patch test and then decide which works better for you, yours is wavy as you said, so mild may do less chemicals though. Its effect will be till your new hair grows because that is virgin hair and its growing from your scalp. So that will be curly u will have to keep touching that up as long as u want straight hair. The hair which you have applied on will stay like that untill u cut it or something. This wellastrate has 2 tubes, one for breaking the curls and the other for making it straight. If u have a longish hairstyle iron it before you apply the second tube. Its the best option to get it done by a professional as it effects last for 6months atleast, so its an investment like u dont have to go on ironing it or spending on it. Hope this helps you and good luck for your hair straightning. NOTE:- Do not touch the roots of your scalp while applying both the tubes, you may loose hair beacuse of its chemicals, so try to start applying it atleast 10cm away frm ur roots ok.

Well. You just deleted the only options.

there is nothing you could do at home except the straighteners but you said they don't work...you could get it chemically straightened....but that would be professional...so your pretty much screwed...good luck and hope your rich...cause chemically straightening costs a lot

I guess you could get a hair dryer with a concentrator attatchment to focus the heat in one section with a round brush when your hair is wet/damp. btw do you have a good straightener? If you really want straight hair you could try a chi or maybe the maxiglide.

The best thing to do is to buy a professional iron not one that you get from wal-mart or Sally's ask your hairdresser about Chi. they are the best. You want to put some thing on your hair to protect it from heat. Do not turn the heat all the way up it will damage your hair high temps are for ethnic hair. If you want a longer lasting solution, get a relaxer. a relaxer relaxes the curl in your hair. Make sure you go to someone that has done one before because it can mess up your hair very badly. ( I am a Cosmetologist) Just to help you out. A relaxer will cost you some $$$ With out seeing your hair I can not tell you what would be better for you.
