From wavy to sleek hair?

I have naturally wavy hair, when I blowdry it, it become sort of straight and I like it.. but I see so many girlz with very sleek hair and I've tried to get my hair like that one or twice for a change (even using a flat iron).. my hair never looks very sleek... it must be the product they use I guess.. so for the girlz out there w/ sleek straight hair... if it's not natural.. what's your secret

i use sunsilk straighten up and it works great also if youre not using conditioner try that...itll make your hair more weighted down which will make it straighter...spray in leave in conditioner when your done washing...brush the hair straight while its wet and blow dry....it should be as straight as a board!

Get a CHI Flat iron, NOTHING works like it!!!! I have curly hair, and when I am done w/my CHI, it is like I have someone elses hair, I could have never imagined having fine straight healthy looking hair like this! I also touch the ends up w/Redken Glass 01. BTW, cheapest place to get a CHI is on EBAY "Capt. Jacks" is the seller!!

You need to use a really good straightening iron. I spent about $120 on a CHI ceramic straightener to tame my curls! It's SO worth it though!! I put in CHI Infra Treatment in my hair when it is damp, blow it dry and then straighten it in sections. Pull the top 2/3 of your hair back and straighten the bottom...pull that back and let out the middle section...straighten that then pull it back...then do the top section. Use more of the CHI or Biosilk on your dry straightened hair to add shine!! Good luck!!

I use Aveda hang straight straightening lotion, and Aveda elements smoothing fluid. Deep Shine Bio-Marine therapy also makes your hair realy smooth, but if you use too much it can make your hair look kind of greasy. Especially if your hair is blonde. If you're looking for a cheaper product, however, Sunsilk works really well.

Personally, I think that the straightener you use is more important than the product. CHI's are the best ones [mine has lasted 4 years!], but Conair makes some pretty good ones too. Jus don't get a wet to dry straightener. They don't work very well, and they can often leave your hair smelling burnt.

Easy...have your hair thined from underneath and anled or straight down your face with a center part. The best product and treatment is the CHI system. It is pricey for the treatment.

PLus the Chi flat Iron gets really hot and the ones at thre store are a waste of money. If your hair doesn't get greasy keep the style for a couple of days..then go back to salon just for a Flat Iron treatment. if you do this regime your hair will get trained and the waves will soon go away. Also there is a chemical straightener by Rusk..same as a perm and gentle

but is used to straighten the stubborn hair. DON"T DO IT AT HOME!! The salons carry it..just keep hair moisturized with a deep conditioning treatment and a flat iron at the salon. Also buy the CHI iron to touch up at home if need be. Clip hair into sections spray on a Chi flat iron spray and iron out the waves.

Also when you wash use the Chi Infrared Treatment shampoos and conditioners..also Chi super shine spray after your done! Sleek Shiny and Straight as a Bone!
