Chis are very good but a lil on the expensive side.

When you go look for a straightener just make sure its ceramic and is rounded on the ends. That way it wont damage your hair. Also try to get a cream or gel or sumthint to protect it from the heat!

I use conair but I heard chi is great

Look for an ionic or ceramic straightener. I have a conair one and I'm 26. It works pretty good. Chi is probably the best but until you learn how to use it like a pro I would just get something at Target or Walmart.

Make sure you use a product that proects your hair from heat styling!

i have a chi and I'm also in 8th grade. You do not need 2 be a professional to use it. It leaves you hair very straight and soft. I recommend it to anyone, the only thing is that is cost $99 and up so idk, u may just want to go 2 walmart and buy one, but those don't work well..
